Handmade cashmere sweaters from Nepal

More and more we hear that people should think about our food, drinks, make up and body products. However, just as important is the fact what we are wearing on a daily basis as it also reflects our health and feelings.

The older I get, the less I experiment with my look and start to value the quality of the fabrics and materials. More and more I look and buy clothes that feels great against the skin, such as cotton or the  cashmere, classical and nice clothes, so I feel good and can combine them with each other.

Kasmiir.ee contacted me and asked if I would like to write a bit more about cashmere and since I like to write, I decided to take the challenge, hopefully you’ll be just as excited as I am right now?!

Cashmere is the most expensive and luxurious natural textiles, so it feels good against the skin. Cashmere goats undercoat is fine and thick, so it protects perfectly from cold (until 40C!). Raw cashmere passes through a long process of manual processing and by the end of this work piece of clothing are called pashmina.
Fun fact! You are going to need for one medium size sweater/cardigan as much as wool from 3-5 goat! Cashmere goats are living in the Himalayas, as well as kasmiir.ee products are made by hand by the women of Nepal. With proper care cashmere clothes can look nice for many years, if you are buying your item, be sure to check out the layers of wool, more layers means warmer piece! I have one of the cashmere sweater and I really must say that this always looks and feels lovely and now I have one beautiful cashmere scarf also! This allows the skin to breathe and regulates temperature plus looks beautiful even after long time, it seems that I’m sold! 🙂

Do you have any cashmere clothing? Do you like these posts for a change? Let me know your thoughts!

Harilikus suuruses sviitri/kampsuni jaoks läheb tarvis tervelt 3-5 kitse villa! 🙂

Kas olete kokku puutunud kašmiirist toodetega, kuidas meeldivad? Kas vahelduseks meeldivad ka sellised postitused? Andke aga märku!
